Lauren Esterly, PharmD, BCPS, is the Vice President of Clinical Strategies at Humana. In this role Lauren leads all clinical services within Humana’s wholly owned Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Humana Pharmacy Solutions. Her organization leads the design of Humana’s formulary offerings across all lines of business, clinical program strategy supporting health outcomes, cost containment initiatives and quality measure performance. In addition, her organization drives technology solutions to support clinical strategy and enhance consumer experience. Her organization has a mission to empower Humana members to achieve their best health via optimized medication use. Lauren is an experienced leader in the field of pharmacy, leading in both a health system environment as well as within a health plan serving in multiple roles throughout Humana for the past 8 years.
