Applied Policy
Alison Falb, JD, leads Applied Policy’s pharmaceuticals division as Health Policy Director. In this role, Alison delivers strategic analysis and guidance on healthcare policy with a focus on coverage and reimbursement.
Prior to joining Applied Policy, Alison was a Regulatory Counsel at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). During her tenure at FDA, Alison worked in both the Office of Therapeutic Biologics and Biosimilars, which oversees the development and implementation of regulatory policy related to biosimilar, interchangeable, or other therapeutic biologic products, and in the Division of Policy Development in the Office of Generic Drug Policy, which provides strategic leadership and direction in the development of policies and procedures affecting the regulation of generic drug products.
Alison also previously served as a Senior Advisor at the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). She led policy development and regulation writing for specialty care and episode-based payment models under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) statute and collaborated in the design and implementation of alternative payment models including the Oncology Care Model (OCM).
