Laurin Dixon is Vice President of Operational Excellence in the Enterprise Transformation Office at Centene. In this role, she has responsibility for strategic development and refinement of operational programs across Centene’s Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace lines of business, covering over 28 million members. Previously, she held served as Lead Executive of Medicare Products and Director of Medicare Star Ratings at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield (ABCBS). In those roles, she had responsibility for all business and financial aspects of the Medicare lines of business (Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplement). This included accountability for strategic direction in product administration/operations, network development, revenue optimization, value-based contracting, risk adjustment, vendor management, PBM transition, pharmacy and medical trend results, and clinical quality/Stars. Laurin also has responsibility for leading the strategy and implementation of quality programs within the Arkansas Medicaid (ARHOME) program and the Enterprise’s HEDIS engine transformation.
Prior to ABCBS, she served as the Director of Pharmacy Quality and Stars at Humana, where she was responsible for driving Humana to the highest pharmacy Star measure performance ever achieved at that point and directly contributed to Humana’s industry-leading position of over 94% of members in a 4 Star plan.
Laurin completed an Executive Fellowship at the Pharmacy Quality Alliance. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi: School of Pharmacy, where she currently serves as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council.
