Jessica is the Associate Vice President of Pharmacy at CareSource, accountable for all things pharmacy for the CareSource Ohio market. She leads strategy and oversight of CareSource responsibilities related to pharmacy benefits for all Ohio CareSource members through partnerships with the Ohio Department of Medicaid and Single Pharmacy Benefit manager as well as many other external and internal partners to support CareSource’s Ohio Medicaid, MyCare, D-SNP, and Marketplace products. With expertise in leading implementation of Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare plans, as well as state-mandated pharmacy initiatives, she is committed to building pharmacy and medical drug management initiatives that ensure patients have access to appropriate drug therapy and clinical services to support medication adherence and therapeutic outcomes. In her prior roles, she has lead Formulary and Clinical Pharmacy Strategy development and execution and served in an account management function for CareSource's markets to lead and facilitate initiatives in clinical, operational, contractual, regulatory, quality, data analytics, and vendor management and oversight. Dr. Hatton received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati followed by two years of post-graduate residency training at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and at CareSource, in partnership with Cedarville University and the Cassano Health Clinic. She is a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist and serves as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati.
